Abstract: THE FHA SINGLE FAMILY MAXIMUM MORTGAGE LIMIT IS $67,500, BUT MAY BE INCREASED UP TO $90,000 IN HIGH-COST AREAS. HUD WILL RAISE THE UNITS ABOUT $67,500 IF HOUSING SALES PRICE DATA IS RECEIVED FROM INTERESTED PARTIES (PRIMARILY HOMEBUILDERS MORTGAGE LENDERS AND REALTORS) WHICH JUSTIFIES AN INCREASE.
