Abstract: THIS REGULATION SECTION PROVIDES PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING CERTIFICATI BY THE IRS OF ENERGY SAVING ITEMS OF THE MANUFACTURER. THIS REGULATIO IS NEEDED BY THE IRS TO ENSURE THAT ITEMS CLASSIFIED BY THE MANUFACTUR AS ENERGY SAVERS MEET THE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND WILL THUS BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE ENERGY CREDIT.
