Abstract: THE HEALTH AND NUTRITION IMPACT DATA WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO THE ADMINISTRATION AND CONGRESS FOR PROGRAM REAUTHORIZATION AND FUTURE APPROPRIATIONS. IDENTIFICATION OF WIC PARTICIPANTS WHO BENEFIT MOST FROM THE WIC INTERVENTION AND DOCUMENTATION OF SUCCESSFUL WIC PROGRAM COMPONENTS OF SERVICE WILL ASSIST PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AT ALL LEVELS IN INCREASING THE COST EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAM.
