It is understood that: (a) the basic regulatory provisions for scale tickets are contained in 9 CFR 201.49 (b) USDA will submit the information requirements contained in 9 CFR 201.49 for PRAct clearance and (c) the preface to Review of Regulations - Group VI will state USDA will request Paperwork Reduction Act clearance for use of scale tickets.

THE NPRM CONTAINS THREE REGULATIONS WHICH CONTAIN RECORDKEEING REQUIREMENTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN REVIEWED BY OMB. THEY CONCERN PACKER PURCHASES ON A CARCASS BASIS, RECORDS TO BE FURNISHED POULTRY GROWERS AND SELLERS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEIGHING LIVESTOCK.
