Abstract: REQUIRES THAT OPERATOR SAMPLING BE PERFORMED BI-WEEKLY TO DETERMINE RADON DAUGHTER CONCENTRATION WHERE URANIUM IS MINES, QUARTERLY WHERE URANIUM IS NOT MINED, AND THAT RECORDS BE KEPT. SAMPLING IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT WORKERS ARE NOT EXPOSED TO CONCENTRATIONS OF RADON DAUGHTERS IN EXCESS OF PERMISSIBLE LIMITS. THE INFORMATION IS USED TO DETERMINE THAT THE WORKERS HEALTH IS PROTECTED.
