Abstract: NRC HAS ISSUED ORDERS REQUIRING BWR LICENSEES WITH MARK I CONTAINMENTS TO MAKE MODIFICATIONS TO RESTORE INTENDED SAFETY MARGIN. THE NRC IS EVALUATING THE LICENSEES PLANT UNIQUE ANALYSES TO DETERMINE THEIR ACCEPTABILITY AGAINST NUREG-0661. TO COMPLETE THE REVIEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RELATED TO DEVIATIONS FROM NUREG-0661 AND ISSUES WHICH ARE PART OF THE MARK I PROGRAM BUT NOT SPECIFIALLY ADDRESSED IN NUREG-0661 WILL HAVE TO BE PROVIDED.
