Abstract: COMPARATIVE PERFORMANCE OF COOPERATIVE AND PROPRIETARY FIRMS IS NEEDED TO EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF PUBLIC POLICIES DESIGNED TO PROMOTE COOPERATIVES.
