Abstract: SECTION 530 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT (ESTABLISHED IN 1980) REQUIRES THAT SINGLE FAMILY MORTGAGE INSURANCE PREMIUMS BE REMITTED PROMPTLY TO HUD AS THEY ARE COLLECTED EACH MONTH. TO COMPLY WITH THIS NEW REQUIREMENT, A NEW SINGLE FAMILY MORTGAGE INSURANCE PREMIUM REMITTANCE FORM IS REQUIRED.
