Abstract: THE INFORMATION REQUIRED BY THIS REGULATION IS NECESSARY AND IS NOT OTHERWISE AVAILABLE TO PBGC. UNDER THE STATUTE, PBGC IS REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH A SUPPLEMENTAL GUARANTEE PROGRAM. IN ORDER TO DETERMINE WHETHER A PLAN SATISFIES THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR COVERAGE UND THE PROGRAM, PBGC NEEDS CERTAIN INFORMATION FROM THE PLAN REQUESTING COVERAGE.
