Abstract: THE RECIPIENT CASH ADVANCE REQUEST FORM WILL BE USED BY ED RECIPIENTS TO OBTAIN FUNDS FOR GRANTS RECEIVED FROM ED. THE FORM WILL BE USED BY THOSE ED RECIPIENS WHO DO NOT QUALIFY FOR LETTER OF CREDIT. THE RECIPIENTS WILL REQUEST ADVANCES SO THAT THE FEDERAL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO THEIR ACTUAL DISBURSEMENT BY THE RECIPIENT FOR AWARD ACTIVITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL ACCOUNTING OFFICE AND TREASURY REGULATIONS.
