Abstract: FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT INSPECTION NEEDS VARY WITH THE TYPE OF EQUIPMEN USE, ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE, AND MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS. INSPECTIONS ARE NECESSARY TO ASSURE PROTECTION INTENDED WHEN THE NEED ARISES. THE EQUIPMENT INVOLVED INCLUDES FIRE FIGHTING TRUCKS, HOSES, HYDRANTS, FITTINGS, EXTINGUISHERS, SPRINKLERS, ETC.
