AFTER AN INDIVIDUAL SUBMITS AN APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT WITH THE OPM AND IS FOUND BASICALLY QUALIFIED FOR A POSITION, THE QUALIFICATIONS INQUIRY IS USED TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT RELATED INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICANT FROM FORMER EMPLOYERS.
