Abstract: ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY DATA ARE COLLECTED IN COOPERATION WITH STATE EDUCATION AGENCIES. THESE DATA PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT FALL MEMBERSHIP, HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES, TEACHERS AND OTHER STAFF POSITIONS, REVENUES BY SOURCE, EXPENDITURES BY FUNCTION AND OTHER RELATED DATA. THESE DATA ARE USED IN ALLOCATION OF FEDERAL FUNDS FOR SOME EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAMS (ESEA TITLE I), AND IN CARRYING OUT NCES MANDATED STUDIES (EQUITY PROFILES).
