Abstract: THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION LAWYER SURVEY IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE COMMISSION'S ONGOING INVESTIGATION OF THE IMPACT OF REGULATIONS OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION ON THE PRICE AND AVAILABILITY OF LEGAL SERVICES TO CONSUMERS. DATA COLLECTION WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING OMB CLEARANCE AND WILL BE COMPLETED WITHIN A SEVENTY-DAY PERIOD. A FINAL REPORT CONTAINING THE DATA ANALYSIS IS SCHEDULED FOR COMPLETION WITHIN 7 MONTHS THEREAFTER.
