IRC SECTION 852(B)(3) AND REGULATIONS SECTION 1.852-9 REQUIRE THAT REGULATED INVESTMENT COMPANIES (RIC) THAT MAKE A DESIGNATION OF CAPITAL GAIN INCME AS UNDISTRIBUTED CAPITAL GAIN INCOME SHALL FILE FORM 2438. FORM 2438 PROVIDES FOR THE COMPUTATION OF THE CORPORATE ALTERNATIVE TAX INCOME DESIGNATED AS UNDISTRIBUTED CAPITAL GAIN INCOME.
