Abstract: USED TO REPORT GROSS INCOME FROM FARMING, WHICH IS REQUIRED TO BE REPORTED UNDERIRC SECTION 61. THE FORM ALSO PROVIDES FOR THE REPORTING OF EXPENSES TO DETERMINE THE PROFIT OR LOSS. SECTIONS 6012 AND 6017 REQUIRE TAXPAYERS TO FILE A RETURN IF INCOME EXCEEDS THE STATED MINIMUMS. THE INFORMATION IS USED TO DETERMINE THAT THE PROFIT OR LOSS FROM FARMING WAS CORRECTLY REPORTED AND ALSO FOR GENERAL STATISTICS USE.
