Abstract: THIS STUDY EXAMINES THE EXTENT TO WHICH JOB CORPS PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS INCREASE THEIR EMPLOYMENT AND EARNINGS, RETURN TO SCHOOL, ENTER COLLEGE, ENTER THE MILITARY, RELY LESS ON WELFARE, AND REDUCE ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR. IT INCLUDES AN ANALYSIS OF PROGRAM COSTS IN RELATION TO SOCIETAL BENEFITS AS A BASIS FOR FUTURE PROGRAM PLANNING.
