Abstract: THERE IS A NEED TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE NEW YOUTH INITATIVES IN APPRENTICESHIP AS A DEPARTMENT OF LABOR PROGRAM ACTIVITY, AND TO DOCUMENT THE SCHOOL-TO-WORK EXPERIENCES OF A NON-PARTICIPANT SAMPLE OF HIGH-SCHOOL GRADUATES. THE INTERVIEW INSTRUMENTS ALSO SEEKS THE OPINIONS OF EMPLOYERS AND SCHOOL PERSONNEL WHO HAVE HAD CONTACT WITH THE PROGRAM. JANUARY 81 IS THE EXPIRATION DATE
