Abstract: THE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET IS REQUIRED UNDER THE OSHA SHIPYARD REGULATIONS. SHIPYARD EMPLOYERS, BEFORE USING AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL, MUST HAVE A COMPLETED OSHA-20 ON HAND FOR THE MATERIAL. THE OSHA-20 CONTAINS A DESCRIPTION OF THE MATERIAL, THE HAZARDS INVOLVED, PROTECTIVE MEASURES TO BE TAKEN, AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.
