Abstract: PROVIDES DATA THROUGH CONTINUING SURVEYS ON QUANTITY AND VALUE OF COMMODITIES SOLD DIRECTLY BY FARMERS TO CONSUMERS. INFORMATION OBTAINED ON TYPE OF OUTLET USED, DISTANCE FROM AND SIZE OF NEAREST POPLUATION CENTER PLUS REASONS FOR SELLING DIRECT. SURVEY RESULTS WILL BE USED BY GOVERNMENT AND OTHERS TO DETERMINE EXTENT OF DIRECT MARKETING.
