Abstract: A SAMPLE REPRESENTING ALL CHAINS IN 46 MAJOR CITIES SUBMIT THEIR MEAT PRICING SHEETS WHICH ARE USED IN COMPUTING THE FARM-TO-RETAIL PRICE SPREAD FOR RED MEATS. THE SUMMARY IS USED BY THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH AGENCIES AND CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES INTERESTED IN MONITORING RETAIL MEAT PRICES AND PRICE SPREADS.
