Abstract: UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE FEDERAL MEAT INSPECTION LAW AND REGULATIONS, ESTABLISHMENTS DISPOSING OF MEAT OR MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS IN INTERSTATE OR FOREIGN COMMERCE, WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS, ARE REQUIRED TO OPERATE UNDER FEDERAL MEAT INSPECTION.
