Abstract: PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE BANANA ACREAGE BY VARIETY IN HAWAII. ESTIMATES SHOW TOTAL ACRES IN CROP, ACRES AVAILABLE FOR HARVEST AND ACRES DAMAGED BY WINTER STORMS. ESTIMATES ARE USED BY BANANA INDUSTRY IN MEASURING SHIFTS IN ACREAGE AND ITS IMPACT ON PRODUCTION.
