Abstract: THE WATERSHED PROTECTION AND FLOOD PREVENTION ACT (PL 83-566) AUTHORIZES THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL HELP TO LOCAL ORGANIZATION IN PLANNING AND CARRYING OUT WATERSHED PROJECTS.
