PUBLIC SUBMISSION As of: 5/22/26, 11:29 AM Received: May 20, 2026 Status: Pending_Post Tracking No. mpe-229y-95tm Comments Due: May 29, 2026 Submission Type: API Docket: FNS-2026-0232 Agency Information Collection Activities: Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Programs—Reporting and Recordkeeping Burden Comment On: FNS-2026-0232-0001 Agency Information Collection Activities; Proposals, Submissions, and Approvals: Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Programs Document: FNS-2026-0232-DRAFT-0001 Comment on FR Doc # 2026-06062 Submitter Information Name: Anonymous Anonymous Email: [email protected] General Comment I believe the reporting and recordkeeping requirements for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program are necessary to ensure the program is managed correctly and fairly. While there are many steps, forms, and tracking requirements involved for agencies and authorized vendors, those processes help maintain organization, accountability, and proper distribution of benefits to eligible seniors. The transition to more electronic systems also seems like a positive improvement that could help reduce paperwork and make reporting more efficient over time. Overall, although the process may be detailed and sometimes time consuming, it appears to accomplish the goal of running the program accurately and efficiently year after year.
